Chairman’s Message (2008-2010)

It is my great honour to be elected as the Chairman of The Hong Kong Institution of Incorporated Engineers, for the term of 2008 – 2010 on 7 June 2008 and to have an opportunity to serve our members. It is indeed my pleasure to introduce to you our new Council as shown in the list of Council Members for 2008 – 2010.

On behalf of the new Council, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and thanks to all Council Members for 2007 – 2008, and in particular to our Immediate Past Chairman, Mr Tom Law FHKIIE, and Honorary Advisor, Mr Samuel Chu Hon.FHKIIE for all their hard work, dedication and valuable contributions to the Institution.

I would strive during my term of office for the best interests of all our members and, with the assistance of a capable team on the Council and the support of all members of Institution. I hope to further enhance or promote the vision and mission of our Institution.

In order to achieve our commitment to serve best to our members, we shall be organizing CPD events and activities in the forthcoming months. To show your support to the Institution, I sincerely urge you to participate in some of these activities and to make such opportunities to meet your new Council Members, fellow members and friends.

Last but not least, I take this opportunity to wish you all have a happy and prosperous 2008.
