Chairman’s Message (2018-2020)

Dear Members and Fellows,

It is my honour to be elected the Chairman of Hong Kong Institution of Incorporated Engineers (HKIIE) in 18 September 2018. I am very much grateful for the trust and support of the Founding President and the Council Members that placed on me by electing me as the new Chairman of this Institution for the session 2018-2020.

The Hong Kong Institution of Incorporated Engineers (HKIIE) is a multidisciplinary engineering institution in Hong Kong, which has been formed by a group of incorporated engineers, engineering technologists, technical and professional engineering managers, industrial & academic personnels in 1997 to sustain the vision and mission of the Institution and the profession.

In this session years, I am prepared together with the elected office bearers, the Council, the working committees and all the members, to continue to fulfill the vision and mission of the Institution in support, promote and sustain the excellence in the engineering profession by aspiring networking interdisciplinary engineering and industrial professionals for continuing professional development for members and the society; by supporting to members and promoting collaboration with education colleges on the focus of continuing development for incorporated engineers, engineering technologist, technical and professional engineering managers.

Members are our greatest strength and it is important in ensuring the Institution to strive for continuous development. Let’s work together to achieve the common goals to continue develop the Institution and the profession.
